Page 1: Mentee Information:

Thank you for your interest in the CLES One Step Beyond Mentoring Scheme.

Your participation in the mentoring scheme is valued by the College and can be recognised in the PDP process under ‘citizenship’.  The mentor and mentee roles can also be included as an objective and recognised in staff PDRs.

Please keep a record of the frequency of your meetings with your mentors. Feedback on the impact of this mentoring scheme will be gathered in October 2016 as part of its review.

Remember, whilst mentors can build on their personal experience and help mentees with career development, the University has a range of services available for issues such as bullying or harassment, such as its confidential Dignity and Respect Advisors and Care First. Please refer to the One Step Beyond Mentoring Pack section ‘Further Support Available for Mentors and Mentees’ for more details.

The scheme is entirely voluntary, and both mentors and mentees are free to opt in and out throughout the year.
